Wow I knew they were big but I didn't realise mick is heavier than my sister's malamute and he's huge. We like bassets for our family, they just seem perfect for us. I've watched loads of videos on them and I've noticed so many people who have basset hounds seem to stay with that particular breed throughout their lives, it tells me all I need to know about this breed. Loving, lazy and stubborn, this is my kind of hound ♥️ These two studs look terrific, I'm glad to know their genes live on and they brought so much joy to the lives they've encountered. Stunning, majestic dogs Garth and Mick, I'd be very proud of them.

I have two basset hound puppies and a man who raised basset hounds told me not to put any kind of water or anything in a basset hounds ears because they will shake so hard to get the water out they will break there ear vessels or something like that and that really scared me. is that true? Now im so scared to get anything around my two bassets ears..

Do you have one from a mama dog who didn't have multiple c sections? And if it was a c section birth then was it her first (and last)?
